ARMIDALE FAREWELLS ARDI DRIVERLESS BUS

Armidale’s transport scene has returned to normal, with the ARDI driverless bus making its final trip through the city yesterday.
The high-tech vehicle began its two-year trial in March 2018.
The city’s council partnered with Transport New South Wales to conduct the $900,000 test.
More than 1,000 people utilised the service during its run.
The bus drove itself to a storage shed yesterday afternoon, where it will be kept until it is relocated for further trial in another city.
