Lismore is being painted purple this week, as businesses decorate shop fronts to support the Cancer Council.
More than 60 businesses have jumped on board the purple week project, which runs until Sunday.
The initiative aims to raise awareness of the Relay for Life event.
“It’s basically like a mini festival. It’s really just to raise awareness about cancer and the cancer council services that we offer here in the Lismore community.”
Relay for Life begins on March 28, hoping to raise $100,000 for cancer research.
