A motorbike rider is fighting for life in hospital after a crash near Murwillumbah in the state’s north.
It’s understood the man was riding along Tyalgum Road at Tyalgum when he lost control and struck a tree late on Tuesday afternoon.
The man, believed to be aged in his 70s, was stabilised at the scene before being flown to Gold Coast University Hospital
He’s reported to be in a critical condition.
