The nation has returned to mostly clear skies.

There’s a cold front passing the South East producing showers and storms.

Western Australia also has some active cloud cover.

In the South East corner of the country a low will form.

This will help produce more isolated showers and storms affecting parts of the region over the next 24 hours as the front passes.

An early morning southerly change will be sweeping across the region producing showers.

It will be a hot night ahead of the change.

By the time it reaches the North East corner of the New South Wales afternoon storms will develop crossing the border to Queensland.
