$10,000 GRANT TO RESTORE WWI GUNS

Two World War One heavy machine guns captured from the German Army are to undergo restoration thanks to a state government grant of $10,000.
The guns are owned by the Bonville Memorial Hall and will be displayed with other memorabilia.
Member for Coffs Harbour, Gurmesh Singh, announced the grant at the hall this morning.
Members of the CWA and students from the Bonville Public School also attended the event.
