A 56-year-old man is recovering in hospital after he was found with multiple stab wounds at Kingscliff, on the state’s north coast.
Emergency services found the injured man inside a unit on Kingscliff Street late Sunday evening.
He was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition, with wounds to his head, chest, and abdomen.
It’s understood the 56-year-old was involved in an altercation with another man inside the unit.
A hunting knife was also located at the scene.
