The transport safety watchdog has released its final report into the 2018 container spill off Newcastle.
It says the incident, which saw 81 containers fall from the YM Efficiency in rough seas, highlights the need for ‘safe and effective’ stowage.
Authorities are still pursuing the ship’s owner over payment for the clean-up.
