An ANZAC veteran’s name has been destroyed by vandals at a War Memorial Park in Tamworth.
Oxley Police were called to the scene yesterday afternoon, where they found the memorial to Mr R Flemming had been damaged.
It’s not the first time Mr Flemming’s plaque has been targeted, the memorial was also defaced in the lead up to last year’s ANZAC Day celebrations.
Anyone with information is being urged to contact Police.
