BALLINA FARMERS AID CONCERT RAISES OVER $10,000 DESPITE RAIN
It was almost cancelled due to heavy rain but last night’s Farmer’s Aid Concert went ahead last night at the Cherry Street Sports Club.
The club welcomed more than 350 people into the undercover area to rock with a line up of local bands.
“We raised about ten and a half thousand dollars yesterday in ticket sales which was fantastic so that gets our total to right on $50,000. So, unbelievable from our local community.”
The money will be donated to the Coast to Country Water Run, making deliveries to rural towns yet to see decent rainfalls.
