MAN CHARGED WITH COPPER CABLE THEFT
A Carrington man has faced court, accused of breaking into a storage area at the Port of Newcastle on four occasions to steal copper cabling.
Police allege Gregory Bowles cut the cabling from wind turbines.
The 45-year-old has been charged with several offences, including aggravated break enter and steal.
He was granted bail today to face court again next month.
