WATER RESTRICTIONS EASE ON THE MID NORTH COAST

After living under level four water restrictions for months, there’s good news for the Mid Coast council area, with water saving measures scaled back to level two.

Last year was the region’s driest in more than a century, but recent rainfall has seen water flow into Bootawa Dam.

It’s at 72 per cent capacity and is expected to rise over the weekend, with more rain on the way.
