Tamworth police are warning elderly residents about a scam involving two men posing as tradesmen.
Police say they’re targeting people in self-contained units at nursing compounds, offering to carry out building work.
They are taking credit and key-card details, before emptying the residents’ accounts.
Two elderly people have been hit in the past two days, losing a significant amount of money.
Police say the men are driving a light-coloured utility.
