COUNCIL PROVIDING BOTTLED WATER TO BUNDARRA FOLLOWING BOIL ALERT

A ‘boil water’ alert has left Bundarra residents without a reliable drinking source for the past three days.

Uralla Shire Council issued the warning on Tuesday after elevated levels of turbidity were detected.

Council has now arranged for bottled drinking water to be made available for the community while work on the town supply continues.

Residents can collect the bottles from the McGregor Gourlay store on Bendemeer Street from Monday to Wednesday.

The Bridge Store will then provide supply from Thursday to Sunday.

Council reminds residents that boiling town water will make it safe to drink.
