GAV’S WEATHER | CHANGING CONDITIONS ACROSS THE REGION
The cloud over north-west Western Australia is plentiful as Cyclone Blake passes over the Pilbara coast.
It’s still extremely hot and dry across most of the nation; possibly the final heatwave of this current run will affect us a the end of the week.
Large highs continue to dominate the over the Tasman, and the trough over the New South Wales ranges will flare up more isolated showers and storms.
Blake will continue to move inland across Western Australia, delivering large amounts of moisture to the west, flooding the region.
Hot and dry inland with more isolated storm development along the northern New South Wales ranges.
A southerly will affect the coast south of Coffs producing some isolated showers, remaining hot and dry to the north for the Northern Rivers and south-east Queensland.
