In surfing, Molly Picklum has made it through to the next round of the Corona Open Women’s Qualfying Series in China.
After leading the way for most of the heat, the North Shelley native was pipped at the post by China’s Shino Matsuda in the last 10 seconds.
The 15-year-old posted a score of 11-point-1 to progress to round two.
