ARMED HOLD UP AT ARMIDALE SERVO

Police are hunting a masked man who allegedly held up an Armidale service station at knifepoint over the weekend.

Security vision shows the suspect enter the store on Marsh Street armed with two large knives.

As he approaches the counter, two staff members flee and lock them themselves in an office.

Police say the suspect tried to break into the office, before making off with the till.
