A search has resumed this morning for two men missing off Coffs Harbour after a fishing trip.
The two men, aged 70 and 37, left the Jetty Boat Ramp on Jordan Esplanade in a five-metre boat yesterday morning, and were heading towards Sawtell Reef.
The alarm was raised just before 7pm, when the men failed to return.
Police commenced a search, assisted by the Marine Area Command, Marine Rescue and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
Their car remains at the boat-ramp, and concerns are held for their welfare.
It’s understood their boat contained life-jackets, but it’s not known if the pair was wearing them.
