Animals in the Upper Hunter have been feeling the heat over the last few days, but one kangaroo thought he’d take matters into his own hands by jumping in to a backyard pool in Merriwa.
Sharon Grady spotted him sitting in her pool late yesterday afternoon.
After a few hours cooling down, he eventually jumped back out on his own.
