30 years ago today, two full tourist coaches collided head-on just north of Kempsey, 35 people were killed that day, more than 40 injured.
Survivors, victims families and emergency service workers today commemorated Australia’s worst ever road crash, and for some it was the first time they’d returned to the scene.
