A machinery malfunction is now believed to have sparked a factory fire at Somersby on Friday night.
Firefighters were back on scene today, to make sure smouldering piles of cardboard and plastic at the recycling plant don’t re-ignite.
Acting Chief Superintendent Greg Windeatt from NSW Fire and Rescue says it’s been slow going for crews, with a real risk the building could collapse.
