  1. G’day,
I would disagree with the positive reporting on the opening of the ‘new’ medical centre and how much easier it is for Hastings residents. In my case, as with many others in my position, I find it a total inconvenience. In years gone by I have been able to make appointments to see my GP at the former 8to8 Medical Centre, and I would see him, usually within 30 minutes of the appointed time. With the ‘new’ more convenient wont make appointments centre I have to take a punt on when I think it may not be too busy and make the trip down. To date I’ve been singularly unsuccessful. Thus far the shortest anticipated wait would have been several hours. That was last Friday morning at 8.15am, 30 people in front of me and 2 Drs on. I walked out, I need scrip renewals but am not prepared to waste my time waiting waiting. This centre has been set up purely to make as much money as possible as quickly as possible and as a business doesn’t give a hoot about convenience.
Looks like I’ll have to do what others do, Dr shop.
    regards
    Rob Williams
