POLICE INVESTIGATE ABUSIVE LETTERS SENT TO FARMERS
Police in the New South Wales Central West are investigating a series of abusive letters posted to drought-affected farmers.
It’s understood the letters call landholders ‘losers’ and encourage them to self-harm, and they’ve been reported at properties in Dubbo, Walgett and Peak Hill.
Detectives from the rural crime team have described the letters as “disgraceful.”
They’re urging recipients to hand them into police.
