DRUGS FOUND DURING ROADSIDE STOP AT ANNA BAY

Charges have been laid against a 45-year-old man after a quantity of drugs was found during a vehicle stop at Port Stephens.
Officers stopped a white Mitsubishi Triton on Pacific Avenue at Anna Bay late on Friday afternoon, with a search locating 2.05 grams of LSD and 2.82 grams of cannabis.
The driver was taken into custody and charged with three counts of possessing a prohibited drug and one count of supplying a large commercial quantity of a prohibited drug.
He’s set to face court later today.
