CHARGES AGAINST CSG PROTESTORS DISMISSED IN COURT

Charges have been dismissed against three demonstrators involved in a blockade
outside a coal seam gas test site at Glenugie in January.
A Grafton court found police had failed to follow procedures and were not acting in the execution of their duty when they arrested the three protestors.
A police officer admitted under oath he did not properly identify himself or adequately warn some of the demonstrators.
Lawyers for the men say the decision could have ramifications for two other cases coming up in July.
