The Aged Care Royal Commission came to Newcastle on Wednesday, with a community forum held at NEX.
Hunter residents had the chance to give accounts and feedback to the commissioner.
“I hope that the royal commission has a good outcome and we have lots of legislation changes, high staffing levels, and can meet the needs of our ageing population.”- Candice Kinch – carer.
The comments will be considered as part of the inquiry.
