GAV’S WEATHER | SHOWERS AND STORM DEVELOPMENT BECOME MORE FREQUENT
It’s great to finally see some cloud across parts of the nation as the northern tropical wet season finally gets under way.
There is a front passing over New South Wales and across the south east – this has forced extremely hot air into New South Wales once again.
The pre-frontal trough is producing isolated afternoon showers and storms, hopefully producing more rain to keep helping our fireys across the northern NSW ranges.
It’s a familiar synoptic set up as more hot, north west winds will once again get flushed out across the region ahead of another change.
The difference is there is moisture and a big afternoon of showers and storms are expected once again.
Another hot day thanks to strengthening north west to north east winds ahead of the next change.
Widespread afternoon showers and storms will develop across the region hopefully delivering more relieve to the remaining bushfires; we get a two day break from storm development and then they’ll be back at the end of the week.
