20 poplar trees are due to be removed from a Tamworth street this weekend, amid fears they pose a safety risk to the community.
The trees, located on Ebsworth Street, were assessed recently… the results showing some could topple over, given their age.
Council staff will remove the trees this weekend – they’ll be replaced with a row of 36 Manchurian Pear trees.
