Tingha junior Bevan French has been handed another chance to dazzle in the pre season, named in Parramatta’s Auckland Nines squad for next weekend.
Scoring eight tries in last year’s edition, he earned team of the tournament honours last year as the Eels went on to win the carnival.
The 21 year-old used it as a springboard to his first grade debut, finishing equal third on the NRL try scorers chart with 19.
Parramatta opens its account against the Dragons.
