FIRST ‘WEDDINGS’ HELD IN FRONT OF NEWCASTLE’S POWER POLE

It’s become a celebrity in its own right, and this afternoon, the power pole in the middle of Foundry Street at Wickham also became a wedding venue.

Ellen Kane and Roy Turner held a commitment ceremony in front of the now infamous blunder.

The small ceremony was a charity fundraiser by local celebrant, Weddings by Kez… and the atmosphere was electric.
