Significant rain could be on the way with a number of positive signs a north west moisture feed is beginning to develop.
With the tropical north recording its first rain of the wet season over the weekend, and cloud streaking down across the Northern Territory and into Queensland, there’s hope for those struggling through one of the worst droughts on record.
Combine that with a low which is set to form over Queensland along a deepening trough, and we may be set to see our first decent rain in months.
In the meantime, expect the clear days inland to continue, with the rain most likely to form over the weekend and into early next week.
