COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME NOW IN THE HANDS OF COUNCIL

Tamworth Regional Council will take over the operation of a valuable community asset, come March 2020.

They’ll adopt a strategic long-term plan for the Australian Country Music Hall of Fame.

The iconic facility was previously volunteer-run, with Council now stepping to shoulder some of the burden.

“That’s a nationally recognised exhibition, we need to make sure that it remains part of the landscape of Tamworth indefinitely into the future.”

Mayor Murray assures they’ll work in partnership with the attraction’s existing volunteers, for the benefit of the project.
