M1 CLOSED AFTER SERIOUS CRASH

UPDATE | The M1 is flowing well now, after the crash site was cleared but between Cowan and Berowra on the Pacific Highway, there is heavy traffic on southbound.

There’re lengthy delays for anyone heading to Sydney this morning, with the M1 Motorway at Berowra closed in a southbound direction.

Emergency services were called to the freeway at around 3 o’clock on Wednesday morning, after reports a road worker had been struck by a vehicle.

Motorists are being diverted via the Pacific Highway, as crash investigators work to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
