More details are emerging about a horror crash near Kyogle on Sunday, which claimed the life of a 55-year-old man.
Four other men were injured in the crash, in which four motorcycles collided with a northbound Kia Rio on the Summerland Way.
The most serious of the injured, a 56-year-old man, was taken to Lismore Base Hospital.
He was later airlifted to Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Two others, aged 52 and 53, were left with serious injuries, while the driver of the car, a 52-year-old man, was taken for mandatory testing.
Investigations are ongoing.
