BAILEY IN NEED OF MIRACLE AS SEASON END DRAWS CLOSER

Surfer Soli Bailey will go into the latest world tour event in Portugal needing a miracle to requalify for next year’s world tour.
Currently ranking 32, the 24-year-old will need to move up at least 10 spots to secure an automatic tour card for 2020.
He’ll face Americans Kolohe Andino and Griffin Colapinto in the opening round, which could get underway as early as this evening if conditions improve at the well-known beach break.
Portugal is the second last stop on this year’s C-T, with the season finale to be played out on Hawaii’s north shore.
