Showers are set to increase over the next 48-hours, with the temperature also expected to drop as a front makes its way up the coast.
The heaviest of the falls will be seen on Thursday, with the area between Newcastle & Seal Rocks likely to experience the worst of the weather.
The change, which is the coldest we’ve had in a number of weeks, will also lead to some showers falling west of the divide, though as has been the case they’re likely to be isolated and only small totals.
An increase in the swell is also expected, with the southerly winds to continue along the coast.
