FAST FOOD OUTLET HELD UP ON THE CENTRAL COAST

A man has threatened a staff member at a fast food business with a weapon before fleeing with a sum of cash on the Central Coast overnight.

Shortly before 9pm, a 30-year-old man was working at the store on the Pacific Highway at Charmhaven, when the assailant entered the store.

He threatened the employee with a knife before fleeing with a sum of cash.

No one was injured during the incident.

Police would now like to speak to a man who might be able to assist their investigations.

He is described as being of medium build, approximately 180cm tall with blue eyes, and was wearing a face mask, a white hooded top, dark pants, white sneakers, yellow gloves and was carrying a green fabric shopping bag.
