THREE INJURED IN CAR ACCIDENT AT CHARLESTOWN SQUARE

Three people have been injured in a car accident at the Charlestown Square Shopping Centre this morning.

It’s understood four vehicles were involved in the crash, which happened shortly after 11am in the carpark.

A man in his 80s suffered lower limb fractures and was taken to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.

Initial reports suggest a second patient suffered a chest injury and a dislocated shoulder, and a third suffered a head injury.

A specialist medical team treated them at the scene and a crime scene has been established.
