STAGE TWO OF WATER QUALITY AUDIT AT TERRIGAL COMMENCES
Meanwhile the Cabinet’s trip to the coast also delivered an update for the water quality audit on Terrigal’s storm water network.
Stage one has been completed and the next phase will now commence.
The research project has looked at how widespread the pollution is in the area and its possible causes.
It’ll now look into appropriate ways to improve the water quality.
“Stage two will build on the work of stage one. It’s all about getting a comprehensive picture of what the causes of pollution are so that we’re better placed to fix them.” – MINISTER FOR ENVIRONMENT – MATT KEAN
Results on stage one will be released in the coming weeks.
