MID NORTH COAST WAR MEMORIALS TO UNDERGO MAINTENANCE

War memorials on the Mid North Coast will receive some TLC over the coming months.

A state government grant of $26,000 will be split between three community monuments for maintenance costs.

Wingham’s iconic vampire jet will be fixed-up with a new paint job, while Nabiac Park War Memorial will be totally restored.

The Taree Memorial Clock will also receive funding to re-tile chipped stairs and render walls.
