FAIRYTALE SEASON ENDS IN GRAND FINAL WIN FOR BALLINA

Ballina has completed a fairytale season in the NRRRL, scoring a dominant win over Murwillumbah, 38 points to 18 in the grand final.
The minor premiers were quick out of the blocks at Kingsford Smith Park, as Jamie Lyon dived over to open the account.
From there it was all one way traffic, as the Seagulls stamped their authority on the match.
It’s the fifth title in seven years for Ballina.
We’ll have a full match report in Sunday night’s news.
