Three men have been charged with supplying ice, after police raided a unit in the Newcastle suburb of Shortland.
Officers seized two kilograms of methamphetamine, a loaded semi-automatic pistol and cash from the Marsden Street address on Friday afternoon.
The trio, aged 27, 28 and 30, were all refused bail in Newcastle Local Court.
The arrests formed part of an investigation by Strike Force Betel, which was set up to investigate the large commercial supply of methylamphetamine in the region.
