SEARCH UNDERWAY AFTER REPORTS OF CHOPPER CRASH NEAR NEWCASTLE
A major search operation is underway near Newcastle, after reports a helicopter has crashed into the ocean.
There are reports debris has been sighted, with the focus of the search in an area in the vicinity of Anna Bay.

The aircraft disappeared from radar at around 6:30 on Friday evening.
Marine Rescue, along with Police and a rescue helicopter are all involved in the operation.
