If your house has an old-fashioned air conditioner, you might find yourself a little hot under the collar over summer
Tamworth Regional Council announced this week that it’ll be keeping a close eye on evaporative air conditioners coming into the summer months.
The appliances use a lot of water, which could be an issue with Level 5 restrictions in place during the warmer months.
Tamworth Mayor Col Murray says no decision has been made regarding the use of evaporative coolers just yet, but that the matter could come before Council.
Reverse cycle air conditioners aren’t affected.
