North Tamworth Bears player Jake McManus has been named Group 4 rugby league’s ‘Player of the Year’ – beating Narrabri’s Daniel Jobson by four points.
The 26-year-old scored eight tries and kicked 88 goals for a total of 208 points this season.
The Bears play the Roosters in the grand final on Saturday.
