MAN CHARGED OVER ATTEMPTED IMPORTATION OF MDMA

A 26-year-old man, who it’s alleged was involved in an attempt to import MDMA into Australia has been charged.
The man was arrested at the Mullumbimby Post Office on Monday afternoon, as part of an investigation by Strike Force Urray.
It stemmed from the discovery of a commercial quantity of the drug in three packages from the Netherlands, which were intercepted in Sydney last month.
Following his arrest, the man was charged with 14 offences, including three counts of supplying a prohibited drug.
A search of a home on nearby Tincogan Street located cannabis, cocaine, MDMA, and two gel blaster guns.
Investigations are ongoing.
