Adam O’Brien will coach the Newcastle Knights for the next three seasons, with the club confirming the appointment on Monday evening.
The current assistant coach at the Sydney Roosters has signed a multi-year deal, which will see him call Newcastle home until 2022.
Prior to his time at the Roosters, O’Brien spent 11-years working under Craig Bellamy at the Melbourne Storm.
He’ll replace Nathan Brown who was sensationally sent packing by the Knights last week, despite previously being told he would coach the side for the remainder of the season.
