A man’s been charged – two-years on from a hit and run, at Mayfield which claimed the life of a 91-year-old man.
He died three days after being struck by an SUV while crossing Stedman Street, at Maitland Road.
Today, detectives spoke to a 25-year-old man at a correctional facility at Wellington and later charged him with dangerous driving causing death and failing to stop and render assistance causing death.
He’ll face Dubbo Local Court tomorrow.
