Sad news from the state’s Mid North Coast, where a man in his 60’s was killed in a motorbike crash near Kempsey.
The 64-year-old was riding his Ducati along Gowings Hill Road at Dondingalong just after midday on Saturday, when he lost control while negotiating a bend.
He was thrown from the bike into a ditch alongside the rural road, where he was found by members of the public suffering serious injuries.
The man was rushed to Port Macquarie Base Hospital, where he later died.
