SPECIAL DELIVERY FOR ONE MUM ON THE COAST

Mums across the Central Coast were pampered today as the nation celebrated Mother’s Day.

For Arietta Thompson it was extra special, with the arrival of her son at Gosford Hospital.

Little Edwin Dirk was born just after eight o’clock this morning.

He was one of the first delivered on Mother’s day, which also timed well for the family business.

“He was due on the 26th of April but that worked out well because we’re very busy down at the flower markets in Sydney and I dodn’t know if it was a boy or a girl but I told the baby that it had to come out after mothers day markets and then we’d be right, so very well behaved baby.”
