GAV’S WEATHER: RAIN FOR PARTS OF THE COAST

Cloud continues over south-east Queensland and north-east New South Wales thanks to the stalled trough producing some rain and storms.

Another front has passed the south-east and is now producing rain for the Central Coast and Greater Hunter tonight as it develops into a low.

The forming low will make for a wet 24 hours across the Greater Hunter region.

Heavy rain will fall at times, potentially causing some localised flash flooding before moving slowly to the north.

Isolated showers and storms will develop along the north coast to south-east Queensland.

Isolated storms will be possible.

As we move to the final days of winter, it will be cold under this system, remaining dry inland.

The wet weather will clear for Fathers Day and the start of Spring.
